TOSP Region VII is an annual search which recognizes the best and the brightest students in the provinces of Region VII who have excelled in academics, leadership, and social responsibility. The program aims at establishing role models who will galvanize our young people into action and help bring about total human and economic development in the nation. The TOSP program dates back to 1961 when businessman Jose Concepcion Jr., then publisher of Student Life Magazine, envisioned an annual recognition of outstanding students.

This year’s search is organized by the RFM Foundation, RFM Corporation, Commission on Higher Education (CHED), Philippine Long Distance Company (PLDT) and The Outstanding Students of the Philippines-Alumni Community (TOSPAC).

Former Cebuano awardees include Miguel Garcia, Stacy Alcantara and Athena Plaza.
