Psych Vols Presents at Bike Lanes Meeting with Transport Groups

The Psychology Volunteers on Bikes core members Daryl Mishka Watin, Monica Acero and Edna Lee together with other bike groups representatives: Tony de Mataga of Cebu Extreme Bikers Union and Rye Kido of Critical Mass Cebu; and transport groups repesented by CITRASCO (Cebu Integrated Transport Services Cooperative)- Ryan Yu and jeepney drivers upon the invitation of Councilor NIda Cabrera to explain the new bike lanes ordinance proposal. The Psychology Volunteers on Bikes were the ones who presented Tindak Sugbo: Padulong sa Haruhay, Malungtaron ug Maangayaon nga Sugbo, which shows the bike as a climate change mitigator, traffic solution and health promoter. The sharrows – shared bike lanes was also explained and shown as it has been implemented in different developed countries.
